Ensuring a secure and healthy lifestyle is a priority for anyone calling Bali home. Recently, members of the Bali International Women’s Association (BIWA) were delighted to attend the "Living Well in Indonesia" seminar, an insightful event hosted by BPR Lestari at their beautiful Sanur Superbranch.

Representing BIWA at the gathering were Mary Ann, Rezi, Sharyn, and Geraldine, who joined a diverse group of local residents and community organizations for an afternoon of professional guidance and community networking.

A Comprehensive Approach to Island Living

The seminar, organized by the Lestari Loyalty Liaison in collaboration with Siloam International Hospitals, focused on the twin pillars of a stable life: Legal Security and Personal Health.

The event featured two distinguished keynote speakers who provided actionable advice tailored to the unique landscape of living in Indonesia:

  • Protecting Your Assets: Ni Kadek Septia Sari, S.H., M.Kn, a respected legal practitioner, walked attendees through the nuances of Indonesian law. Her session highlighted the importance of proper documentation and legal frameworks to ensure that assets and futures remain well-protected.
  • Prioritizing Your Health: dr. Pande Sastrawan, Sp.Pd, an Internal Medicine Specialist at Siloam International Hospital, shifted the focus to physical well-being. He shared expert perspectives on preventative care and managing health effectively while living in a tropical climate.

Strengthening Community Ties

Events like these are vital for the expat and local communities alike, providing a space where complicated topics—like property law and healthcare—are broken down into manageable, clear information. For the BIWA members in attendance, it was a fantastic opportunity to stay informed while connecting with other groups and the professional team at BPR Lestari.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to BPR Lestari for the invitation. Their hospitality at the Sanur Superbranch made for a welcoming and educational afternoon that left everyone feeling more empowered and prepared for the future.
