On 20 August 2026, BIWA held a special August Independence Lunch at Nakara Restaurant, Tanjung Benoa, celebrating the 81st Anniversary of Indonesia’s Independence.
With the theme of Batik and Red & White, our members came together in a warm and festive atmosphere to celebrate the spirit of Indonesia. We enjoyed a wonderful variety of delicious Indonesian dishes, and everyone enjoyed the gathering from beginning to end.
The celebration became even more meaningful as we sang “Indonesia Raya” and “Gebyar-Gebyar”, beautifully led by Bu Yus Martini. We were also treated to a beautiful Dayak traditional dance Gong Dayak Kenyah, gracefully performed by our members.
